Relevant Experience

Deck Internet Solutions, Brentwood, MO
Senior Web Developer, February ‘07 – Current
Taking e-commerce sites from concept to deployment then supporting enhancements through a ticket system.

PF Flyers  – Ecommerce site a small team took from design to deployment, I’ve also been maintaining it for the last year.  We built the front-end for this site using HTML5 techniques, this site also uses ASP, SQL, jQuery, custom javascript, AJAX and Flash.  This site was brought to deployment under a very tight timeline, without the convenience of a project manager.

Shop New Balance – This is a large ecommerce site that demands performance and accountability.  I was part of the three man team that completely redesigned the UI, I’m also a part of the team that maintains the sprawling ASP codebase.  Typically DIS developers are responsible for their SQL as well as their ASP, so I have written countless stored procedures and created dozens of tables.  This site also has a very in-depth admin that includes well over two dozen reports, many of which I have created or enhanced.

UPDATED: Shopnewbalance.com has become newbalance.com and moved to a demandware platform. I’m currently learning to code in demandware and strengthening my .net and mvc skills.

PFFlyers has moved to Demandware as well, as of Oct. 2012.

There have been many more sites and projects I’ve worked on at Deck IS.  We have a culture that encourages asking other developers questions and often for help, so I’ve worked on just about every site in our stable.  I hope that also speaks to what type of environment I thrive in and will help to foster.
